Davipde, glad I could help.

I put this down for two days, because the last unclued was getting annoying … it’s the clue in ‘ascending order’ between 21a and 18d. I simply cannot think of an answer that fits. Any hints?

I no longer have the puzzle but is it 12 across? If so it is a group of French composers.

Ah yes, thank you alwayspuzzled … now I understand what was going on in posts #6-9!
