i'm so close to finishing the PE crossie for the first time ever, and i think i have the last two, interlinked answers, but i don't really understand why. can anyone help?

The way's restricted by idiot PM! (6) G _ _ _ O _ [i can only think the answer is GORDON, with the R shared with previous answer]

any thoughts? if i'm way of track let me know but please don't give me the answer!!
