There's one vote remaining, and it's quite close! But I'm going to stop doomscrolling on Twitter, and join some friends for as much Carnaval as my introvert brain can handle. Depending on my mental state when I get back, I'll either tally the votes later tonight, or first thing when I wake up.

A video of the end of Maastricht Carnaval in 2019, the doll of the Mooswief, an important symbol of Carnaval, is lowered, while the crowd sings the Maastricht anthem, while many of them shed a tear, knowing it'll be another year before their favourite party returns.
