Understood, this makes much more sense to me know. I've seen "the Listener Crossword" referred to so often when learning about cryptic crosswords that I assumed it would essentially be like many others, and without a Times subscription (until today) I didn't encounter any obvious evidence to the contrary. Having browsed through some puzzles now, I see that it doesn't really make sense to implement it in traditional crossword-solving software.

HI kenhiggs; I have a website navigation question. I recently subscribed to the Times online from overseas (Canada). I can't find the Listener online in the Review. I get it from the e-paper. I've tried just doing a search and get a few older puzzles without the grid. Am I missing something? Also, I can't find the archives you mention. I'm a bit incompetent perhaps but I would be grateful for any help.

Good Afternoon, robertbenz. The crosswords and the archive are located in the Puzzles section on The Times website (I am assuming that you subscribe to the newspaper - thetimes.co.uk). Good luck!!
