Perhaps not the most unambiguous clue ever - and not in Chambers.

Coastal feature is a promontory - you might sail past two going RTW. Four letter word for shows, as in displays.

Definition is the sky version of the things Turner used to paint.

Valid in Scrabble and, amazingly, has no offensive connotation. Seems safe from the predations of Mattel.

Thanks hotelwhiskey7 and paulhabershon, but having a slow/thick day so didn't get the Mattel reference.

Also struggling with 5d "Time in agenda adjusted to see part of a circuit" (3, 4)

A?? ?A?E - thought it looked like an anagram of agenda + T but remain stumped

Again any help much appreciated

Sorry about Mattel, gooner. It's the company which owns and controls Scrabble. To put it mildly they have gone 'woke' about 'offensive' words. I refer to you Post 116 in the Coffee and Chat thread.

Re Saturday's Times I had never heard of that electrical circuit, nor even the guy in the Flintstones - never watched it.

Thanks paulhabershon.

Bit of a slog this week but nearly there. My last one is 19d "Large volume of water is inverted andc exposed to high heat" (6)

?E?R?D. Looks like SEARED for hjgh heat = Red Sea inverted?
