Hi, first ever post after following for ages.
Finished bar 3, which must be easy because no mentions of it. A nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.
Favourite today was 17 - once I got it.

3d - 2 letter "engineers" (army unit) + anagram/oddly of a word in the clue then the second word is a 4 letter "smooth" as a verb (as in metal work) - definition is "info for IT user"

It's a term that only appears in relation to IT.

Just finished and 3 was my LOI too SartayM. Took a while to get going and my FOI was 14 - which was also my COD along with 17. I loved 15 as a child and poured over the new books which my librarian father sneaked out for me and my brother before they were processed (obvs to be returned after we had read them).

1d - 8 letter "board game" + 4 letter "piece on the board's" (really 3 letters but there is an apostrophe S) + 3 letter "with it" - definition is "skill in designing"

8a - anagram - definition is the whole clue.

13a - 2 letter "old" + 4 letter "Scottish side" (abbreviated) goes around/admitting an anagram of "riot" - definition is "showers" (as in people that show)
