First word must be liquid ( one pound beiing 1 quid) but assuming k is for kilo ,second word must be ki?s or ?iks. Can't think of anything with
?iks so must be ki?s . But all that would fit is kids or kiss. So maybe I'm wrong about k but if so how does kilo work?

3d A German organ's erect -extemporise. A? l?b. Must be Ad lib. A , d for deutsch but how does bil =organ?

Bild reversed, organ as in newspaper.

,Bild is the name of a German newspaper, organ - so upwards would be Dlib....

I don't think spongle is correct for that . The urban dictionary refers to spongle as a bit of idiot or half cut. There is a word similar in spelling that the setter may have meant to use.

Also, can anyone parse 12? I'm reckoning the first word is rubber, but could be lumber - can't find either in Das Krapital.
