I thought of aristophanes, who lives in Rhode Island iirc, but he just posted on the WPR thread so must be relatively OK.
I'm on the far NW periphery of the storm, got "only" 7.5 to 10cm of snow (3-4") but it's very cold.
We were expecting 32” but have only 18-20 right now. A lot of drifting, so that the upper half of the north slope of our roof is bare. Haven’t lost power. There were 82 -mph winds on Cape Cod and 30-ft waves. Nice fluffy snow; that’s the best part. Well over two feet just east of us, even in Boston.
I'm in rural (Western) Ulster County, NY, about 50 minutes driving time from Woodstock. Eastern parts of the county fall under "Hudson Valley", but my area is much colder and snowier.
