ARTFUL BODGER (6,9,6)
Answer must contain the name of a mammal.

Robert Bollinger Badger. I have done a few of this quiz for a friend of mine. Both she and I are getting nowhere with 100. The question is 'The answer is bananas!' (4, 4, 2, 8, 3) The obvious mammals like gorilla, ape etc appear in other answers and cannot be repeated. The mammal can be singular or plural.

Is it WHAT DOES AN ???????? EAT? Elephants apparently eat bananas but could be another 8-letter mammal that begins with a vowel

Thank you for that suggestion Loge. My friend already has elephant in an answer. She also tells me that all the answers are established names, nicknames, titles of films, songs etc, song lyrics and quotes among others.

I've just checked that out and I can't see it not being the answer. My friend tells me she's not got anteater in any other answer. She has asked me to pass on her thanks to you Brendan.
