It is one word but when you parse it you will see what I mean.

I'm just about to post my entry off and it struck me that possibly I should highlight the 18 theme items in the grid?
It does not specifically mention this in the preamble but usually with EV it is a requirement.

What is everyone else doing?

Thanks for your help the other day. I see what you mean about the alternative title. I was intending to send it without any highlighting. As there are so many affected answers I would imagine that the final grid doesn't require marking. You have made me wonder though, so it would be nice to know what everyone else is doing.

Jst to say thanks Tony - I haven't had time for a few days to do so - and i'd also forgotten that we can ask you the hard clues too! I've not yet finished but will persevere x

I have just completed the grid. I found this one very difficult compared with some of the latest ones. I do not think that it is necessary to highlight parts of the 18 treated answers.
12 across is still irritating me. I have the goddess but cannot work out the subsidiary part of the clue. Keep persevering, Anniec.
It will be worthwhile when it all fits together.
