Thank you all for some wonderfully imaginative interpretations of a word that was fairly simple, but had quite a variety of definitions. Halfway through, it looked we might be heading for a 15-way tie at the top, which would have been a nightmare for the host (worse than Clueless!), but, despite the slight controversy, I am going with the democratic process and declare that in second place with two votes is jono @4 (this might also be a bit controversial, as I am not sure that k = £1,000 … simply “a thousand” might have been more accurate).
