Can’t quite parse this:
The clue is :
This player’s her in orchestra, perhaps (5)
The answer must be ‘actor’ and I imagine it must be something to do with taking her out of orchestra which leaves the letters for actors, but I can’t see how this is indicated or what happens to the extra s?
