All pretty straightforward, and a welcome idea for these dark winter nights. But I'm at a loss to understand the parsing for 19. The answer is clear, but why?

Fond memories of Myanmar, and we followed your recommendations.

I'll post this here rather than resurrect the 4681 thread: the final sentence in the Listener notes states that The squares are arranged to suggest a heart shape, for “love”. I was on the fence on this one but Hotelwhiskey's eloquent advocacy of this idea is truly vindicated!

All done and no grid staring for a change. The PDM for the "10" came very early for me which turned this into a bit of a romp. I'll now hope that this weeks inquisitor is as difficult as I found last weeks.

loge - interesting reading Colleague’s setter’s blog today on Listen With Others as he says that he didn’t include the heart shape on purpose but clearly the editors decided that he had!

Just read it, Candledave. Obviously Colleague was listening to his subconscious without realising it when he set the puzzle...
