See as in a Bishop’s diocese, or a cathedral city.
Euro is another name for kangaroo.

Both worth remembering as they do seem to crop every now and again

1 See, diocese, is the definition, I think - like Ely, a favourite in crosswords.

6 Euro is a word for kangaroo, it's in Chambers. The word Euro is half/semi of European/continental, from the continent of Europe.

10a. A TRAMP is a type of ship and I think O LINE refers to the line of the equator being at zero degrees latitude? The definition is somewhat cryptic

4d. Two definitions, a mounted soldier and (another) ship

A TRAMP is a type of ship - a sort of jobbing cargo carrier.
0 LINE could be the equator, the zero line of latitude (though I would have preferred the Greenwich Meridian!)

4d don't know, unless a TROOPER is an alternative name for a troopship (prior to mechanisation, a trooper rode a horse)
