Simplesimon & loge (#12 &13), I think you do the setter a disservice. The preamble speaks of the title explaining the nature and PLACEMENT of the thematic items. Once highlighted, a line around the thematic items gives a rough approximation of the universal symbol for the word missing from Pink Floyd's misquotation of the source material.
Once again it took me an awfully long time grid-gazing to finally spot where the thematic items were located. Definitely an appropriate puzzle for a PDM!
Well played, Colleague!

I can't find a reference justifying the 6:10. Unfortunately I don't have the actual album as my brother stole it from me a very long time ago.

Fair point Jif, though "rough approximation" is how I'd describe it at the very least. I was much more impressed by the other aspect of the thematic placement.

Loge, I've just seen your take on the placement of the five thematic items on the other thread which obviously is the correct interpretation.
My notion above may be due to staring at the grid for too long.
After a few hours sleep, the completed grid now reminds me of a cartoon character whose entry in Chambers has a definition that might apply to the grid fill!

Jif, I think you may still have a point about the overall shape of the thematic items, even if it's a bit of a stretch. Otherwise the first few words of the source seem to be ignored. Perhaps there's another feature we haven't spotted?
