I have C?R?C and I think it' must be CEROC which is apparently an international dance club. But I can't see the parsing at all!

Thanks Jazzgirl. I did wonder about -core being the pop music ending (I've heard of hardcore, though have no idea what it is) but thought it way too obscure even for a Times Monthly. What next - rappers?
