Am I the only one who spent time trying to make Euler’s ‘other’ formula work? The one with e, π, i and -1 !

that is the greatest - and most unexpected - formula ever, jono!

pi and i walk into a bar and get talking.
pi tells i to “get real”, to which i replies “be rational!”.
e walks in and says “why don’t we all get together?”…
And so they became - one

Wow! Came home from picking up my kiddo at school to a pleasant surprise. Thanks for the votes, mattrom, buddy, spike, and marty. Thanks for hosting, paul, and for the prize, although ever since my morning epiphany I've been hearing "Where the Streets Have No Name" in my head.

PS: I thought most of the clues here were better than the one in the Guardian.
