W?T?E. ??????? I can see WHIT for a little bit and can only see WHITE HEATHER or ELEPHANT for bringing luck but can't parse either.

Any help much appreciated

Looks to me like White Rabbits. Whit + bits around bare back

one says "white rabbits" on the 1st of the month for good luck...

M?K?R. Assuming these letters are right I can only see MAKER but, if so, unable to parse. Could scorer here refer to a composer

Somone who "forms" something could be a MAKER.
