Am I the only one mildly surprised that the clue to 5 down doesn't indicate a hyphenated 4-5 solution?

What was the clue?

Sorry, ChrisE, after all the bally-hoo about what we can and cannot say in the Listener threads, I was erring on the side of caution.

The clue is "Home at ten, horribly worn out (9)" - answer "moth-eaten".

I would write it hyphenated, but I have seen it as one word.

Chambers only has it hyphenated, but not all puzzles will indicate a hyphenated entry.
