So many to like; Doug's 5, Jon 6 and 16, Fiery 8, Spike 15, Marty 22 (eventually!).
Just edging it for me is Jon 16 over Marty 22

Heavy early polling indicates two candidates with 2 votes and three with 1 vote - only two votes still to come so anything is possible!
Thanks to the nine members for taking part.

We have a tie this week, Jono @16 and Bbm2 @22 each receiving 2 votes - well done both! Sadly Jono I have to choose Bbm2, mainly because I would have voted for his clue - bad luck Jono!

Thanks to all for taking part - the winner of the 500th Peer Review is Marty with ...
A galaxy far away from a Dan Dare novel (9)

Your musical prize is Linda Ronstadt (with a little help from Emmylou Harris & Dolly Parton) singing Neil Young`s ` After The Gold Rush` ...

Most of you will know that Andromeda and our own Galaxy are on course to `merge`... eventually! Your bonus prize describes how this might happen ...

Your second bonus prize discusses `The New Crisis in Cosmology` as we try to understand how the Universe works ...

Thanks tyke51. I saw a lovely programme about Ronstadt, Harris and Parton last year - sadly Ronstadt has some sort of degenerative disease (once thought to be Parkinsons, though not now). I do prefer Neil Young's version though, with his ethereal voice.

I've followed the cosmological problems in New Scientist!

Congrats, BBM2. As I said earlier, a very clever clue. Thanks for the vote - interesting that you preferred the version with the typo!

Congrats Marty and Cheers Tyke, I would have made the same decision. Thanks for the votes Paul and Aristo.

Out of interest I looked up the first Peer Review inaugurated by Paul in 2012 and the word was FRIENDSHIP. So a special thanks to Paul and all those who have been here a good while for the significant anniversary!
