Thanks to all who contributed a great range of clues this week. We got off to a flying start with buddy playing the stock market while chrise turned to the bible.
Buddy #6 is pertinent to me, as pork-barrelling is very much in the news here. It's a definition of the word I hadn't previously heard.
I had a smile at Jono's rivers, which had me scratching my head until I found 'ea' in Chambers.
I liked the ARK interpretation with jono's 'animal shelter', paul's 'lifeboat' and aristo's 'celebrated chest'.
Other touches I earmarked were jono's 'cauliflower', paul's 'bad karma' and 'erk', mprs's 'organ model', BBM2's 'arty remake', tyke's 'distinctive impression', and penda's 'footless earl'.
Ticks also for paulh 5, jono 15 and FJ 16.
