Many thanks Ginge - all cleared up now.

Whenever the instructions tell us to “ignore an accent”, I wonder: as opposed to what? Maybe one day we’ll see a crossword which tells us not to neglect the cedilla in “soupçon” nor the tilde in “mañana” and to remember that “haček” has … a haček.
