19d "Neptune's satellite's interval discharging energy" (6)

T?I?O? Looks like it has to be TRITON for Neptune's moon but don't see where the interval losing an e fits in.

Any help much appreciated.

Triton(e), a musical interval

Gooner, my Bradford's (Crossword Dictionary) has Tritone under 'interval'.

Thanks jono and malone; that was my last one in and hadn't come across that musical term before.
