Hello,

Can anyone help with the following?

11A Face student after help backfired (4)
I have ?I?L and am completely stuck

22A Casually raise volume (6)
BROWSE
I see the definition is casually but can't parse the rest of the clue

24A Come to like fighting motion occasionally (4,2)
WARM TO
I see the definition is 'come to'. Does 'fighting' = WAR? Stuck re. the rest.

11a - DIAL (Face) - "student" = L + "help" = AID reversed/backfired

24a - Yes, "fighting" = WAR + M(o)T(i)O(n)

Not sure about 'browse'

I think Browse is another weak clue, with surface misdirection and the intended use of volume being book

Isn't BROWSE just a cryptic definition, as in casually pick up a book?
