The bridge was fascinating, buddy!

Did you know that Eric Clapton is an anagram of narcoleptic?

...yes, and David Gilmour is one of the more distinctive rock guitarists. The story of how he gradually replaced Syd Barrett is interesting (and rather sad, especially when Syd turned up at a recording session, and the band members didn't immediately recognise him).

I have the original `Piper at the Gates of Dawn`LP and saw PF in Manchester , 1970 ish, when Syd had been replaced by David Gilmour.
I always thought that Richard Wright`s organ playing gave them their distinctive sound. Sadly Richard is no longer with us.

I've been a fan for ages, but never seen them live - their stage shows grew increasingly expensive in sync with my earnings!
Controversially, perhaps, my favourite album is The division bell, and I really didn't like Animals or The dark side of the moon.

Wow! Thanks, buddy, for picking my entry, and for the challenge. When you said you were thinking of something that might be difficult, I thought you meant the word itself. I was trying to think of constructions for Quetzalcoatl, because that's just how devious I think you are. (Or is that Devo-ous?) To brag a bit, I did rather like my surface on this one. Thanks also to all my fellow competitors for taking up buddy's challenge. It was a fun challenge, but I'm not sure if I will keep it going or not next week, so be sure to tune in.
