I know we have a lot of music lovers here, so I can heartily recommend a book called Anatomy of a Song. It is compiled from a column that ran in the WSJ, where the author (Marc Meyers) would write about one song each time, with interviews with the songwriters and performers. There are, appropriately enough, 45 songs in the book. White Rabbit is one of them.
