I’ve enjoyed this - and certainly more than last week’s! Need some help on 23d - I have all the crossers I think but can’t work out what word fits! Also stuck on 19a - Geeker’s early parsing to Brendan didn’t give me the PDM. Stuck parsing 21a too.

Can I have some hints for 9ac, for which I only have the first letter and 19d for which I have N???A??? and I'm not sure about the N.

19a: pertains to a sport, keeping score therein.
21: defn. "cartoon character", 2 letters for "extra text" inside the 5-letter surname of a "Rhymin'" American singer (also known as half of a famous duo).

Geeker and Janusz, gutted I couldn’t parse 21a - my favourite singer of all time, seen him every time he’s come to the UK since I was 12!
