Hi CoffinDodger,

16d - Single letter "round" + 3 letter "US prison" then 5 letter "spy" minus its last letter/"finally escaping" - definition is "without walls"

Thanks in advance for assistance.

I was looking forward to Everyman after yesterday’s (not)Prize. FOI was 10a, fav so far 26a, but am stuck on a few…. Would be grateful for a hint on 21a or 18d - I feel they should be simple and I’m missing something. Also 7d - I have an answer but I thought it was going to be an anagram and my possible isn’t so I fear I’ve done something wrong….. quite enjoying coming back to it every time it rains (which is quite a lot!).

Happy Sundays all

Hi Zenithmelodron, hi Noeyedeer,

21a - Look at the letters in "Eric Clapton" and compare them to the letters in "narcoleptic" - they are ???????? of each other.

18d - Is an anagram - definition is "Sturgeon perhaps" (don't be fooled by the capital letter:-)

7d - 3 letter "fresh" + 5 letter "evasion" + 5 letter "audacity" - definition is something that's "rich at the table".

Thanks Brendan!! I was right on 7d - I just got fixated on it being an anagram! Cross about 21a, it came up a few weeks ago from memory and I didn’t catch it then either….. oh well.
