I think the clue was ...
Whispering, not the flip side. Aside seemed to be the correct answer.

PS I think it's an awful clue!

Thanks Malone, I was reading this thinking I had no idea what was going on. So it’s A-side, as opposed to B-side (the flip side, of a record)
