A) This breaks when a broken thing ends (3) D?Y. Cannot parse "DAY". What do they mean by " when a broken thing ends?
B) An expert on the subject of China, for example (3,6). It looks as though it should be "tea taster" or could it be "tea master"? Help needed with the parsing. A tea taster is an expert but a master is also an expert!

B I would side with TEA TASTER which is defined in Chambers as an expert who judges tea by tasting it.
