There was ( a long time ago!) a famous traveller (and writer and linguist, I think) called George Borrow. It's obviously far too old a clue for the present day - I don't think travellers cheques even exist now!

Yes, you're right... George Borrow. And yes I think nobody uses traveller's cheques any more.
