34d has ended up as JEERS....where does that come from.....
i think it must be from ....Get up, accepting start of regular shifts....D being the missing letter in the wordplay ??? Help please

Hi kirky, it's paraphrasing the subject in the well known phrase (which incidentally has only one L) - it's "v" rather than "d" missing in wordplay.

Hi again kirky, that's what I have, which is an appropriate paraphrase.

I had to do a bit of working back from the entry to get some of the clues but got there eventually. I liked the appropriate change to the well known phrase.
