I also did not imply that a Peg was the answer, it just indicates where the anglers are in a fishing match (in my locale at least)

The definition of locale.

noun: site, place, setting, position, spot, scene, location, venue, locality, locus.
e.g. An amusement park is the perfect locale for adventures.

Mamya is obviously using locale as an alternative to locality, and is not to be chided for it.

My spirit weeps at the thought that Mamya could be deserving of being chid.

Do not chide me please, for am already a little chafed.
