Thanks BBM2, and for the clips. Despite it being generated by a simple equation, I've seen it suggested that the Mandlebrot set is the most COMPLEX entity in the Universe. It's interesting how a shape like the original keeps reappearing.

Thanks all, wasn’t sure if ‘Comp’ for ‘school’ would translate outside the Uk, and I think “of” would have been better than “for” on reflection. Thanks for hosting and the clips Marty, I was at university when Live Aid happened and almost certainly knew the meaning of a+bi back then, but nonetheless enjoyed the reminder from Mathprof ;-)
