Hi everyone

I started very late today as our daughter called in on her way to the surgery for her jab. We haven't seen her for ages, but a recent diagnosis of epilepsy means she is vulnerable so gets her jab early. I'm waiting for my second one.

Enough of a preamble. I didn't spot the theme and haven't read the books, even in French. I'm please to say I got 8,26 early on and 10ac was my foi. But I'm stuck now, so please can I have some hints.
4d I have no letters and can't think of a 3 letter contraceptive to go with Tina.
13a I was convinced was an anagram, but can't see it. I have ????N?T?
11,20 has also defeated me. I have ???A ???M????

3d - three letter contraceptive on an anagram of Tina - definition is "one who takes charge" of a cricket team, for example.

13a - It isn't an anagram. It's 2 letter "Philistine's" + single letter "beginning to massacre" + 5 letter "harmony" - definition is "protection from" (you're letters are correct)

11,20 - is an anagram - definition is "actor" - your letters are correct.

13a think of the jab!

Sods law I got them all quite quickly once I got 2d and 7ac. I've finished apart from 14ac, though I'm not sure of the parsing for 15d. I seem to have to extra letters.

I have no idea what you'd find in cyberspace but have some letters for 14ac ?E?S?T?

15d - First 2 letters from "essentially deny" + single letter from (essentially) "the" + anagram of "dance"

Actually there aren't many words that fit those letters.
It is a cleverly hidden answer and was my LOI.

I didn't think about looking for it backwards!! What a clot not o have seen it, but I do now know a couple of minerals after looking up all the words that fitted.

Finished now and off to relax and watch telly, but I'm not sure about the film instead of usual scandi noir.
