I can’t see the connection between the answers. Can anyone help me.

I don't know this puzzle. What are the answers, and what are you supposed to do with them?

It looks like the answers are pong, halo, warcraft, lemmings and half-life. You are given definitions and answer lengths and have to unscramble the words from a list of letters. It doesn’t say anywhere that the answers need to be connected to each other in any way, and I don’t believe they are

The clues were:
1, Stench, whiff (4)
2. Saintly illumination (4)
3.:Generalship (8)
4. Migratory rodents (8)
5.:Period of radioactive decay (4-4)

The letters were:

AAAACEEFFFGGHHIILLLLMMNNOOPRRSTW

Those are all computer/video games, of various generations.

I think: Pong, warcraft, halo.
