No problem. Not ONE

I haven’t looked at a Listener in aeons and if I have it’s usually way out of my league. This must be an easier one as I’ve got the poet, section of verse and most of the words to be removed.

Stuck on two clues:

17dn. When about aged 24, keeps udder for Ed(5) Ada?? Is it ‘Adays’? [an N to replace a letter in a wrong definition as per the preamble?]

31ac. Argali wanting grass, initially disoriented on archipelago, bite(6) ?aari? [an S as replacement?]

You're pretty much there in both if them, including the misprints. You might want to rethink that Y in 17 and look at possible anagrams minus G in 31.

Go to the May Contain Answers thread in about 5 minutes..

All done and once again the misprints were generally harder to spot than the answers to the clues. Quite a bit of back solving for me. Never heard of the poet nor the poem but thankfully google has, and wiki is wonderful. I am still struggling to fully parse two or three answers but thankfully all of them need to be deleted anyway, which also confirms to me that they must be correct. Another weekend now searching for a stiffer challenge - hopefully that will be in the "I".

Put to music as Opus 4, opening track of In Visible Silence by Art of Noise, so for anyone interested in mid eighties synth-pop that helped.

No-one here seems to have a problem with the endgame — specifically the drawing of the "symbol". Would someone kindly help us out on the other thread before we lose even more sleep?

Jif, think you’re overthinking it.

If you’ve deleted the right cells and drawn the right symbol in the gap that’s left behind I am sure you’ll be marked right regardless of the exact width of the symbol.
