i'm surprised that my favourite - jafo @21 - didn't attract more support. i thought the neil/lance duality was brilliant!

Thank you for your 40 entries from 17 setters, of whom 16 voted. There was much to admire and I was amused by the inclusion of Christian Bale and Gareth Bale, the latter maybe not so well known outside Europe.

It was certainly bigbadmarty's day. He had 2 votes for @37 in second place, and 5 votes for the winning @27:

@chrise I guess you have to be a bit of a space/cycling fan to appreciate it. I worked out of Austin, Texas for a few years and Lance was absolutely revered as the ultimate Texan, that was his home town. Until the truth came out I don't think I have ever seen anyone spurned so quickly.
