1d Stones hit ought to be turned up. Ans must be opals. I can get the slap turned up but can't see where the o comes from. Obviously o is the first letter of ought but can't find any justification for o being an abbreviation for ought or there being an instruction to be take the first letter of ought. Thanks

Thanks. Shipwreck must have posted his of 14.07 as I was typing .I have never heard of ought as being an alternative to nothing and can't think of a phrase that contains it.
