Help needed please.
I just can't make head nor tail of 12A:
We go out with menial female vassal. (10)

I have: ?ie?e?o?on

Liegewoman, female vassal,servant. Anagram (I think) of 'we go menial'

Although I managed to work out this answer, none of the dictionaries I consulted confirmed the female form of the word - "liegeman" a-plenty but no "liegewoman".

Likewise, 26A was unknown to those same dictionaries. Thank goodness for Google!
