And now I just got 2d wondering how I didn't get it sooner!

So only my second post here. Thanks for all the comments. I've completed, just struggling to parse 10a. Must be straightforward as hasn't attracted much comment. I understand the star reference and so the second letter must relate to first two words of clue, but I don't understand why. Any help?

It's a single letter that means a perfect match.

That works too but I think what I said was what they meant in the clue.

I'm going to do the Fawlty Towers crossword later tonight, it looks a very good one so I'm looking forward to that.

The "Must've " clue is a 4 letter word for "think" outside of the 2 letters for "box"/TV/television
