Am faring ok with this, but 2 small clues are bugging me.

endure could be abye.

Yird or yerd means to bury.

Thanks,Pete. I definitely like 'abye', not 100% sure of 'yerd.'

Nor was I Chips! Since discovered that 'cage' is a dialect word for a squirrel's nest, or drey, according to Chambers Dictionary. Backwards, that gives the word 'yerd', meaning to bury.

Can anyone help with these two?

OK, Chips! Rosie, I think first one is Zyrian, a people of North East Russia. appears to be a partial anagram of 'janizary'. The other one is tricky. May need another letter to crack it. Had a Guinness or three last night!
