It has to be SENTIMENTALITY with "emotion" being the definition.

I can see it as SENT-(I)-MENTALITY but "stimulated mind" doesn't say "sent mentality" to me. Any other suggestions?

Agree it’s a bit obscure but looking at each word separately and the definitions in Chambers.

Mind = mentality
To send can be to rouse so SENT can arguably be stimulated
