We have a clear winner but no doubt BBM is in his bath contemplating his vote and I don't want to pre-empt him. Jws may still vote also, so the silver medal is not yet decided.

Summary later.

Thank you all for your imaginative entries and your votes. We had 32 clues from 14 setters, and 13 voters.

1 vote for mattrom@4, buddy@9, fieryjack@11, jimmygtal@21 and spike2@26
3 votes for silver medallist mattrom@12

but the winner with 5 votes is jono, unusually with a gold medal 'hidden': Cupid was one star cherub at heart (6)

Congratulations, jono. I had no great internet prize in mind when choosing ARCHER and I have discovered that even Olympic archery is not much of a spectator sport. You may prefer the second of these links, jono, if, like me, you consider that Mary Archer outdoes even Joan Bakewell as the thinking man's you know what. Before that it's Taylor Swift.

Thanks all and thanks PaulH for hosting and an interesting word to work with. I enjoyed the clips, though I now feel I should have made more of my time during the first lockdown! See you all next week (and I imagine rather shortly for WPR)
