clue 62. Full placename for the French or the Spanish (2 words)

I'm finding this quiz really difficulty so if you can help, please do.

I have Key West for No. 28 but not yet done 62.
I have a few I haven't done yet either. I have a couple of answers that are not in the letter number sequence. Numbers 1 and 54 - Any thoughts?

Clue 54 is an anagram Goan Dies.
Clue 1 is the name of a 5 letter dance minus the last letter, giving the name of an American president of long ago.

Like you have some answers that are not in the letter number sequence. Are we sure this is the significant order? I'm not.

G is a key in music. W = west.

I agree with the reasons given for the Key West clue. I have the answers for 1 and 54 but they are the only ones that don't fit into the number/letter sequence. I don't have an email contact for the setter so can't check.
I still have a few others that I haven't solved yet but will keep trying for now.

thanks hotelwhiskey7. I had been stuck on that for a long time. Now i have answers for all clues though a couple of them don't fit the number sequence.
About 55. The state of Greenwich switched on the radio. I have a answer of Connecticut, which i'm unsure about. Nor does it fit the letter sequence. Please can anyone confirm whether this is a correct answer.
