Can't parse it

2. Got off senior's day for golf (8) - L - G H - E -

Must be alighted but can't see how to parse it.

Bradman was the batting knight, Sir Don. Take out the R, run, for Badman, criminal

2 senior = a(g)ed => a(light)ed: g (golf) => light (day)
