Last one. 36ac Letters from Crete about large pile of rocks (5) I have T?L?S. The answer seems to be TILTS but I can't reconcile it. Any help welcome

thank you, but although I understand talus to mean a pile of rocks I'm still unsure of why the letters TAUS are used.

TAU is a Greek letter, so "taus" might be used on Crete, for example (though I don't know if there's another significance to picking Crete of all the Greek-speaking possibilities).
