13 across: One-clothed-in-a-nudist-camp-has-words-with-vile-men-stripped-down (7)

I have T?X?I?E and I am sure that the answer textile, but I cannot fully parse the answer. I see 'words' is TEXT and that 'vile men' stripped down is ILE, but the rest eludes me. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance. Roger

Many thanks for these. I have found a couple of other solutions difficult to justify too. e.g.
25ac ZAMBESI: Z is the unknown, AMBE(R) is the next bit but where does the SI come from (Zulu half)?
22d "Like bamboo over northern gorge". Is the first bit really CANY meaning like a cane (pathetic).
Also, I note that HOST (= army) was featured twice, once as a solution and once as part of a clue (equally pathetic).

It’s Zambezi, not Zambesi.

So it’s Z (NATO phonetic) with half of ‘in’.

Cany, sadly, is in Chambers.
