All done.
Pretty straightforward this week, although, as usual, I made things more difficult for myself: this time by writing the solution by the side of one clue, rather than the extra word to be removed. D'oh!

Wondering if I'm the only one held up by initially making the wrong 7-letter thematic item (which is more likely to be found in the same place as the two correct 8-letter items)? Nice puzzle.

I am really struggling with this. I'm pretty sure I have a full grid, but.....

a) I only have 5 of the answers prior to the thematic alteration
b) i only have 10 of the extra words - and it is anybodys guess if all 10 are correct
c) I have the unaltered answer for 23d, but not a clue what the thematic alteration is. nor the definition for it
d) do not understand 30a at all

Other than that, everything else seems correct

30 across - make a list of the seven dwarfs and think of a noise one of them would make regularly!

The thematic item in 23 down is (I think) the one in Collins. The def appears in an early across clue.

I hope nobody minds this ....

Just in case too much is given away on this thread, particularly thematic stuff, the other Listener thread welcomes posts.

Sorry, Malone, if my post was too revealing.

Thanks, Loge - I was perhaps just being hyper-vigilant! I'd hate anyone to inadvertently come across a spoiler.
