How is it I sail through a whole crossword in a couple of sittings and get stuck on one little word? A hint would be appreciated on 58dn Film gas enveloping silverware. (4) I have c - p -. I'm presuming the gas is Carbon monoxide. Silverware... ep(ns)? But the resulting amalgamation doesn't make sense. Help! All the best to all.

Dandybandy, Silverware is the definition. You need a different gas, with a very short film title inside.
